The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition celebrates this model’s reign as motorcycling’s Ultimate Sportbike. This unique version of Suzuki’s flagship model is driven by a muscular yet refined inline four-cylinder engine, housed within a proven and modernized chassis that balances precision with unmatched composure. Its performance is expertly managed by an innovative suite of electronic rider aids; all wrapped in stunning aerodynamic bodywork that unmistakably carries the Hayabusa legacy.

The Hayabusa Special Edition is an example of Suzuki’s century-long commitment to crafting masterpieces that blend artistry with unmatched performance, reliability, and value. Like its namesake peregrine falcon, the Hayabusa continues to soar above the rest.

Features may include:

• 1340cc in-line 4-cylinder fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC engine is fed by Suzuki’s Ride-by-Wire 43mm Electronic Throttle body system. To improve power and torque output in the low- to mid-range, there are four additional Suzuki Side Feed Injectors (S-SFI).

• The Hayabusa has the latest version of the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) clutch that delivers a lighter clutch lever pull than ever before. SCAS serves as a back-torque-limiting system for smooth downshifts while increasing plate tension during acceleration to ensure engine power is effectively transmitted to the rear wheel.

• The KYB® inverted cartridge fork has a specific internal structure to provide more compliance, further improving the suspension’s ability to absorb shocks from the road helping to ensure a smoother, more stable ride with optimum grip. Like the fork, the internal structure of the KYB® rear shock absorber was designed to help optimize comfort and straight-line stability.

• The large analog tachometer and speedometer with a TFT LCD panel mounted in the center, displays information in formats that are easily recognizable and attractive.

• The styling of the bodywork intentionally conveys a modern image of advanced performance and effective features, while faithfully inheriting the wind-cutting silhouette and overall look for which the Hayabusa is famous.

• Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-a) system provides the rider a choice of three factory preset and three rider (or user) defined and combined settings of the Power Mode Selector, Motion Track Traction Control, Anti-lift Control, Engine Brake Control and Bi-directional Quick Shift systems.
