Before Motorcycles

As surprising as it may sound, the company started as Suzuki Loom Works in 1909. Yes, you read that right. Before getting into the motorcycle industry, the company was responsible for supplying the Japanese market with industrial weaving looms. How is that for a fun fact!
 

Initial Start

It wasn’t until 1952 that founder Michio Suzuki had the opportunity to venture into the motorcycle industry, which led to the creation of the first Suzuki motorized bicycle. The First Official Motorcycle

The first real Suzuki motorcycle came two years later, with the 90-cc four-stroke Colleda CO. Exports to the United States and Europe began in the 1960s, propelling Suzuki to a huge international motorcycle brand.
